In collaboration with The Scottish National Investment Bank, this opportunity aims to provide valuable professional experience within the Finance sector. 

Responsibilities   

Social media management:

  • Manage a social media calendar and develop content to incorporate ‘special days’ and themes (e.g. International Woman’s Day)
  • Connect external content with internal staff calls and updates to share the themes of ‘special days’ / good news stories
  • Increase engagement on LinkedIn through showcasing investee and bank content
  • Work with the wider Bank team to write blogs on key hot topics and publish on LinkedIn
  • Develop creative assets on Canva to use on social channels, applying brand guidelines to posts

Content production:

  • Work with PR agency, bank team and investees to develop video and written content that showcases our staff and expertise, our investees and progress made in their businesses
  • Identify spokespeople and liaise with parties to shape content, set up filming where relevant
  • Work with PR agency to craft content cutdowns for different channels (web, social)

Event and conference support:

  • Support the team with logistics and content for conferences / sponsorships throughout the calendar year as key events for engagement.
  • Work with Bank team to manage attendees and coordinate logistics.

Internal bank meetings and townhalls:

  • Support on agenda and event prep for all-bank townhalls, including logistics, agendas, running to time and summary of the sessions

Specification 

Work with the Comms & Marketing team within the Partnerships & Engagement function.

 

REPORTING TO: Director of Marketing & Communications

Hours per week: 35 hours

Duration: 16 Weeks

Commencing: September 2025

Remote/Office/Hybrid: Hybrid (with minimum 3 days pw in the office)

Office Location: Waverley Gate, Edinburgh

SALARY: £23,000 P.a.
