It was an informative evening at the Hate Crime Strategy event organised by CEMVO in collaboration with Black Professionals Scotland. We were able to discuss in detail what constitutes a hate crime, and reflect from personal experiences on instances that we may have encountered or witnessed it. Being able to include minority voices when drafting policies is an important step in the right direction.
