After a year of hard work, milestones and incredible achievements, there was no better way to wrap it all up than with a celebration to remember and the Celebrate in Colour Year-End Party was exactly that. The night unfolded at KONG Glasgow, a stylish spot in the heart of the city at 23 Royal Exchange
Square, where people came together to celebrate community, creativity and culture. It wasn’t just a party; it was a well-deserved toast to everything accomplished throughout the year.
The event was a true collaboration, brought to life by Black Professionals United Kingdom (BPU), Black Scottish Adventurers(BSA), Knowvate Hub, Jambo!Radio Scotland and FotoPool —a team effort that showcased just how powerful working together can be. From the moment guests stepped through the doors, you could feel the energy. The music was already setting the tone, thanks to DJ Baron on The Beat, who effortlessly created the perfect
vibe. Drinks were flowing, conversations were sparking and there was that familiar feeling of good people coming together for something special.
The evening officially began with a few words from the organizers, heartfelt opening remarks that looked back on the year, its achievements and the amazing community that made it all possible. It wasn’t just speeches; it was a reminder of how far everyone had come and why moments like these matter.
One of the standout moments of the night was the showcase of presentations. Entrepreneurs and organizations like BPU, BSA, Knowvate Hub, Fotopool, Spyce, Econome and Jutacos—shared their work and stories. It was inspiring to see so many people doing impactful, innovative things,
proving that success comes in many forms. Adding even more fun to the night, Fotopool set up a photo booth that became a hotspot for
guests to let loose and strike a pose. With creative backdrops and fun props, everyone left with photos they’d be holding onto for a long time.
And let’s talk about the food. Amala Hub brought a taste of culture to the party with their signature Amala dishes—a nod to tradition that hit just the right note for the evening. It wasn’t just about food; it was about connection, history and shared experiences. As the night carried on, the energy turned up a notch. The dance floor was alive, with DJ Baron spinning hit after hit and guests showing off their best moves. Dance-offs broke out, people
laughed until their sides hurt and the playful, celebratory spirit took over.
Even after the formal part of the evening wrapped up, no one was ready to leave. People stayed, chatting, laughing and soaking in the moment. The Celebrate in Colour Year-End Party wasn’t just an event; it was a night to remember—a beautiful blend of good music, great company and plenty of unforgettable memories.
Here’s to celebrating the wins, big and small and to doing it all over again next year—bigger, brighter and even better. Cheers to that
