Capco Joins Black Professionals Scotland

Capco becomes a Corporate Partner for Black Professionals Scotland

As part of Capco’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts, the global technology and management consultancy has formalised its association with Black Professionals Scotland (BPS) and become a Corporate Partner.

“In line with our Be Yourself At Work culture and our steadfast focus on DEI engagement, advocacy and education programs that advance underrepresented talent within the firm, we are excited to announce our new partnership. We see BPS as a valued collaborator in supporting our efforts to build diverse teams and enhance the experience of our black employees in Scotland. We will be working with BPS as a thought partner in our industry and to help us better support our clients with their own DEI challenges. We look forward to tapping BPS’s insights and experience as we continue to build out impactful programmes and initiatives that benefit both our own Capco community and our external stakeholder groups.” – Razan Abdelgadir, Capco UK DEI Manager

“Capco’s partnership with BPS is absolutely key to our DEI strategy, recruitment and overall growth plans here in Scotland. We have already recruited over 150 new joiners so far this year, smashing our original target of 100 new hires in 2022, and we are continuing to see a great deal of interest from applicants. This is in no small part down to the diversity of our workforce, whether viewed from a gender, race or other perspective. Diversity drives creativity and hence is absolutely key to our continued success, and our ongoing association with BPS is a key to our strategy of recruiting the very best talent from right across Scotland” – Roland Inglis, Head of Capco Scotland

“I’m absolutely thrilled to announce this partnership between Capco and BPS. Both are great organisations that are very close to my heart. Being a black employee of Capco Scotland, I am glad to see Capco’s drive and commitment in furthering its DEI and recruitment agenda. Being a consultancy firm on the cutting edge of digital transformation and change management within the financial service industry, this partnership should serve to reinforce to the black and ethnic minority community that Capco is an employer of choice. All of us at BPS are excited to help Capco and its employees achieve their ambitions.” – Asabea Owusu, Associate Consultant, Capco & Director of Communications, BPS
