Anyone from black OR other ethnic minority communities in the UK can apply.

About the Role

Are you detail-focused, organised, and curious about how a law firm works? This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with our friendly and supportive Residential Property team, helping with the legal process of buying and selling property.

Whether you’re studying law or simply interested in gaining some legal knowledge with a view to working in a law firm, this internship will give you insight into how property transactions are completed and what legal processes are like in practice. You’ll help ensure property purchases and sales are properly registered and completed accurately, while seeing firsthand how the team gives clients confidence that their transactions are smoothly finalised.

During this internship you’ll have the chance to:

  • Prepare legal documents – assist with ensuring registration documents are accurate, compliant, and ready for submission.
  • Draft and submit forms – support the drafting and submission of the relevant forms which include Land Registration forms, LBTT Returns, and other administrative tasks like arranging payments and ADS reclaims.
  • Check and report on progress – help review post registration forms and communicate updates to banks and clients.
  • Problem-solve – spot and flag any inaccuracies in registrations with guidance from the team.
  • Deal with questions and enquiries – respond to general questions around title documents in a clear and professional way.
  • Keep records – assist in maintaining accurate and organised records for each transaction.
  • Work with the team – collaborate with colleagues and learn how the team keeps everything running smoothly.

What we’re looking for

We’re hoping to welcome someone who:

  • Is organised, detail-focused, and eager to learn.
  • Communicates clearly and confidently, with a professional approach.
  • Can manage tasks, stay calm under pressure, and meet deadlines with support.
  • Has a collaborative mindset and enthusiasm to learn about how a law firm operates.
  • Is comfortable using Microsoft Office or similar tools.
  • May be interested in a career in law, whether that’s as a solicitor, paralegal, or other business service roles

*Previous legal experience is not required, as full guidance and training on our systems and processes will be provided.
