This opportunity is powered by the #BlackInterns Program which is a Black Professionals UK (BPU) initiative.
We are creating internship opportunities for members of Black and other ethnic minority communities across the UK.
About the Role
Our internship programme is open to inquisitive and motivated individuals from any degree subject and a diverse range of backgrounds. Our size and culture mean you’ll be very much part of the team, and our experienced mentors will be on hand to offer support throughout your time with us.
The programme is for penultimate and final-year students and provides an insight into investment management. You will work in a team that best suits your skills and our business requirements. This will be in Investment Research or Operations areas; both will give you a broad understanding of what we do.
Investment Research
Working on your own project, you’ll research an industry, company or trend of your choice, and present back to the team at the end of your time here. Your mentor will give you support throughout your internship and will act as a sounding board for your project. You’ll also have the opportunity to join research discussions with the team and attend meetings with industry experts.
Operations
Departments you could be working in include Client Service, Investment Operations, Governance and Operations, Marketing, and Finance. You’ll be given a real role within a team and work on live day-to-day business activities. Your department and mentor will get to know you and your strengths, so they can assign work that is both stimulating and interesting.
What we are looking for
If you’re eager to learn, we’re eager to hear from you. If you have an enquiring mind, good communication and organisation skills, adaptability and a drive to succeed, then we’d like to hear from you. We expect high academic achievements, but we’re also keen to hear about your interests outside education. After all, this is what makes you unique and shows us what different perspectives you could bring to the role. The programme will run for 6 weeks from Monday 22 June 2026 to Friday 31 July 2026.
