This is an excellent opportunity to join our Risk and Control team within the CIO Consumer Lending & Enterprise Risk group as a Technology Control Manager, where you will play a key role in providing control support to the technology development and operational teams.

Lloyds Banking Group is at a pivotal stage in delivering against its strategy; becoming increasingly proactive, nimble, and efficient is key to ensuring we make good decisions to maintain what differentiates us in the market. The risk and control team for CIO Consumer Lending & Enterprise Risk is committed to enabling this shift being done in a controlled and safe way.  We’re passionate about ensuring we have a collaborative, empowered, inclusive and successful team who can connect with this purpose and deliver for our colleagues.

About us…

We’re on an exciting journey to transform our Group and the way we’re shaping finance for good. We’re focusing on the future, investing in our technologies, workplaces, and colleagues to make our Group a great place for everyone.  We genuinely encourage our employees to challenge, provide insight and be innovative as our technologies and their associated risks evolve.

If you have excellent risk and control experience, problem solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills with a technology background, we’d like to hear from you.

What you’ll need…

  • Strong knowledge of risk and control principles.
  • Experience of controls and delivering control assessments as part of an RCSA framework.
  • Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following: risk, technology, technology risk, security risk or technology change within or outside LBG.
  • To be comfortable operating in complex environments, have a collaborative style and have experience of establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
  • The ability to acquire and use multiple sources of information to form an opinion and be comfortable sharing your insight with senior colleagues.
  • Ability to simultaneously lead multiple activities and a desire to learn and develop.

And any experience of these would be really useful…

  • Control automation
  • Implementation of KCIs and/or KRIs
