How you’ll make a difference

The Senior Manager, IT Operations and Incident Management is a key role in the Production IT Services team and critical to protecting TSB Customer Service through the effective monitoring of our IT estate and resolution of IT incidents.  You will improve the standard and coverage of monitoring and incident resolution within CIO and across the business to provide effective service protection for our customers and colleagues.  This role involves participation in an out of hours on-call management rota.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to enthuse and inspire multidisciplinary 24×7 teams and build successful relationships at all levels.
  • Experience of managing complex IT incidents in a financial institution.
  • Experience of industry recognised monitoring tools and good knowledge of ITIL
  • Focus on continual service improvement e.g. MTTR
  • Strong supplier management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with a capacity to present, discuss and explain issues coherently and logically both in writing and verbally with the ability to succinctly disseminate important messages to an executive audience.
  • Proven experience of managing technical operations simultaneously whilst balancing business priorities and quality.
  • Clear decision-making ability with the facility to judge complex situations and assess when to escalate issues.
