 AI in the Loop 

Purpose of the Role  

This exciting internship is your chance to be at the forefront of AI transformation within the legal sector. As part of our AI adoption and engagement programme, “AI in the Loop,” you’ll help drive innovation and support our teams in integrating AI-powered solutions into their daily work. This is an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a cutting-edge field while contributing to meaningful change within one of Scotland’s leading law firms. 

 What to expect?  

As an AI in the Loop Intern, you’ll be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team, working on real projects that shape how we adopt and optimise AI across the firm. Your role will include: 

• Coordinating engaging initiatives such as Jed-AIs sessions, Lunch and Learns, PlaylearnLABs, and the Jed-AI Genius Bar—helping colleagues embrace AI tools with confidence. 
• Exploring and testing new AI use cases, ensuring our firm stays ahead of the curve in legal tech innovation. 
• Gathering and analysing feedback from participants to improve AI adoption strategies. 
• Supporting training efforts, helping teams develop AI literacy and maximise the benefits of AI-driven solutions. 
• Assisting with internal communications to encourage firm-wide engagement and excitement around AI.

 We’re looking for enthusiastic, proactive, and curious individuals who are passionate about the future of AI and its potential in legal services. The ideal candidate will have: 

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to help convey AI concepts in an accessible way. 
• Creativity and problem-solving abilities, with an interest in process improvement and human-centred design. 
• A proactive mindset, always looking for opportunities to add value and innovate. 
• A keen interest in AI and emerging technologies, whether from a legal, business, or technical perspective. 
•  The ability to work collaboratively, supporting team initiatives while also taking ownership of individual projects.  
• No deep technical knowledge of AI is required—just a passion for learning and a desire to be part of something transformative!

Salary: £12.60 per hour
